With historic record of eight years without accidents with dismissal, ICL is proud of its responsible performance policy and of the awareness of its stakeholders in the issue of occupational health and safety To ICL, to work with safety is an absolute priority, therefore, trainings, lectures and workshops are constantly performed, with the purpose of increasing the qualification of the team in the management of the best practices, focused mainly on the preventive performance. Since 1992, the company is signatory of the "Responsible Performance" program, coordinated in Brazil by ABIQUIM. Annually, ICL performs its self-evaluation and it reports its performance indexes in relation to safety, health and environment. Aiming to improve even more the control and performance levels in the issue of occupational health and safety, the company is obtaining the certification OHSAS 18001.

.ENVIRONMENT - Environmental Preservation
ICL is a company aware of its responsibilities with the plant, trying to reflect in all of its actions, the compromise with the preservation of the waters, forests and of the whole ecosystem in a general way. The adoption of sustainable practices and the awareness of stakeholders and partners, of our role in relation to nature, is a priority value to ICL. Going into this direction, we are in process of implanting ISO 14001, the main certification about standards and directives related to the area of Corporate Environmental Management.
